In order to submit an award application, CSMFO members must be pre-registered in the software. If you are a prior year applicant and were identified as the contact person for your local government, you are registered and should have already received information from Award Force regarding how to access the software. Members not meeting these criteria who provided me with their contact information were also registered for the software.
If you did not receive information from Award Force on how to access the software as an applicant, please send a message the Recognition Committee Chair at email@example.com.
Financial Reporting Checklists
There are checklists on the GFOA website that can be used to review the financial reports for accuracy and completeness prior to submission, which can be found at www.gfoa.org/coa . Cities and counties should use the General-Purpose Governments checklist and special districts should generally use the Stand-Alone Business-Type Activities checklist under the section titled Information for Participants and Potential Participants. This section is in the bottom half of the webpage.
