As I write this, we’re heading into mid-August, and the long list of items on the white board in my office that were supposed to be my “summer projects” remain mostly untouched. Between getting the budget adopted and moving into the year-end close process, I thought I might have some time to get a few of those projects crossed off the list, but so far I am losing that battle...
